Now that we have both left the structure of full-time employment, we finally have time for all of the projects we have been putting off! We started with house projects and maintenance work, but after joining a maker space in Lynchburg we spent more time doing projects just for fun.
This was our first winter on the East coast in a long time and we enjoyed being able to avoid the airport and simply drive to visit family. We went to Richmond to visit Andrew’s family for Thanksgiving, and we traveled to Philadelphia to visit Emily’s family for Christmas.
Summer ended sooner than we would have liked, but not without a few final visitors. As we enjoyed our first real Fall season after years of living in LA we set out on a few adventures to visit family and friends.

After spending most of the last decade in Los Angeles, Emily and I are finally moving back to the East Coast! We recently bought a house on Smith Mountain Lake near Roanoke, Virginia and will be moving there full time at some point this winter.
